Test Results and busy, busy, busy

Hi all. Well Harry had his surgery and his test results came back yesterday. NEGATIVE!!! NO CANCER! Whoo hoo! I'm so excited and so is he. I've been busy creating with some great stuff lately. I'll post as soon as I can. Lots to do and not enough time to do it. My boss is going to have her baby any minute over the next few days - a little boy! HOW COOL!

Crocheted Folklore

I saw this as a Knitting folklore but in my case I'm saying Crocheted Folklore!

Crocheting folklore says that if you stitch a strand of your hair into your work, you will be forever bound to the person who receives that work!

How true - how true - so there are a lot of people who are bound to me forever!!!

Sunday after church, a Mom asked her very young daughter what the lesson was about. The daughter answered, "Don't be scared, you'll get your quilt." Needless to say, the Mom was perplexed. Later in the day, the pastor stopped by for tea and the Mom asked him what that morning's Sunday school lesson was about - he said "Be not afraid, thy comforter is coming."

And a couple of short ones for quick smiles!

Stuff about me

Okay, you asked for it! I am 53 years old, married. I live in East Tennessee and have been here for almost 15 years. grew up in New England and miss some things, but this is the best place for me. I have 3 dogs and 4 cats. We live with my husband Harry's sister, Kathy on a mini farm. We have no children. I no longer work outside the home, received my disability approval a while back. Some days are GREAT and some days are yuck! My heart sister, Martha, lives in New England and I miss her terribly! I adore the color pink and I am The Princess! I love to read, crochet, cross stitch and hang out with Daddy. I lost my mother, suddenly in November 2005. I miss her so. Jesus is in my heart and I know my Mom and I will be together again in heaven.
