Sir Scrap A Lot - WOW A GeNTLEMAN SCRAPPER

I am thrilled beyond belief. I found a Gentleman Scrapper! How cool. His name is Sir Scrap A Lot. I made the below with his recent Layout - Just Batty! Check him out, leave him some love!

I'm proud of it - I think it came out very cute. I don't use scrap stuff what a lot of people do - I do a lot of "tag" related items. Stuff that people can add to their email and personalize it. I adore these scrap people and they have the most generous spirts I have ever seen.

Crocheted Folklore

I saw this as a Knitting folklore but in my case I'm saying Crocheted Folklore!

Crocheting folklore says that if you stitch a strand of your hair into your work, you will be forever bound to the person who receives that work!

How true - how true - so there are a lot of people who are bound to me forever!!!

So cute!

Sunday after church, a Mom asked her very young daughter what the lesson was about. The daughter answered, "Don't be scared, you'll get your quilt." Needless to say, the Mom was perplexed. Later in the day, the pastor stopped by for tea and the Mom asked him what that morning's Sunday school lesson was about - he said "Be not afraid, thy comforter is coming."

And a couple of short ones for quick smiles!

Okay, you asked for it! I am 53 years old, married. I live in East Tennessee and have been here for almost 15 years. grew up in New England and miss some things, but this is the best place for me. I have 3 dogs and 4 cats. We live with my husband Harry's sister, Kathy on a mini farm. We have no children. I no longer work outside the home, received my disability approval a while back. Some days are GREAT and some days are yuck! My heart sister, Martha, lives in New England and I miss her terribly! I adore the color pink and I am The Princess! I love to read, crochet, cross stitch and hang out with Daddy. I lost my mother, suddenly in November 2005. I miss her so. Jesus is in my heart and I know my Mom and I will be together again in heaven.
