I am so EXCITED - doesn't even begin to say how excited I am. I am a tester - a humble tester - yes I am - for a crochet and knit pattern designer. No, I don't knit but I do crochet. Donna - SmoothFox - is her name and she used my picture of my blanket that I made testing her pattern! LOOK LOOK LOOK - I am so excited, so pleased, so humbled - her work is lovely and to be recognized for what I did out of just sheer enjoyment is beyond a treat for me!!
Her link is here:
Smooth Fox's Spiral Baby Blanket
I hope you take a look at her site - she has a lot of lovely patterns - this blanket is barely the tip of the iceberg!

A Shawl and a Scarf
I have so many finished projects - but our camera is not working so I had to borrow one to get these - lots more to take soon!
So I'm uploading my most "proud of" projects! A shawl and a scarf!!!
This first is the shawl - it is called the Diamond Lattice stitch - the creator called it the pattern a Prayer Shawl. The pattern is free at:
http://crochetroo.blogspot.com/search/label/free%20crochet%20pattern
She added little charms to it. It's a lovely pattern and works up well - it is in Australian Crochet Terms. I made it with Caron Simply Soft Yarn in the color Orchid.

Back View of Diamond Lattice Shawl:
The second finished item - is a pattern I purchased at Vashti Designs. It is called Frostyflakes Scarf & Wrap. This pattern is very versatile - can be used in many many ways with many many types of yarn. It can also be made as long or as short as you like! The pattern can be seen at:

My scarf was made with Red Heart Holiday Yarn in Aran and Gold. I have shown a few of the ways you can wear it below. I have made a few of these for friends and family - everyone so far seems to like it a lot!
