<br><br>
First is a little blue gnome. These guys are so cute, I leave them at hotel rooms with a little note about them and hope that the cleaning person enjoys them and smiles. I've also left them in other places as well and enjoy trying to find a spot to watch them be found by their new family! You can find the pattern here: <a href=http://jeanariespatterns.blogspot.com/2010/11/simple-gnome.html>Simple Gnome</a><br><br>
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6l6nWEDLZvB36BeAlxU1DTFE8NrhZtevi9Jt0NltzuqNr7gTNpZiDmw-XrzK32beyHyKjbe9rH8_Vhmi0nJ3bIQHnbkRiG0wIggotMTH8o9Msq5ign4jxdFk7M2neHuWY-VFkcRTxozAc/s1600/bluegnome.jpg" imageanchor="1" ><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6l6nWEDLZvB36BeAlxU1DTFE8NrhZtevi9Jt0NltzuqNr7gTNpZiDmw-XrzK32beyHyKjbe9rH8_Vhmi0nJ3bIQHnbkRiG0wIggotMTH8o9Msq5ign4jxdFk7M2neHuWY-VFkcRTxozAc/s320/bluegnome.jpg" /></a><br><br>
Next is a baby blanket I made. It is a cross stitch crocheted stitch - no pattern - just a stitch I wanted to try out and did a few rows of each color. It is up for sale on my other blog.<br><br>
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHjpaJzE9G76CPA3NMXdGikWNEBa61cqJpgCu0hD78Y7HmIakOL0GjDFG9oSuKZwdn23ESiuolRiNddLthQF4LQLw-E1V4SEIC6xvhLPfLZYc8sJqQeZ1vZ1We7VNgw51S6_lYolRfeFm4/s1600/chocbluebabycoverlet.jpg" imageanchor="1" ><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHjpaJzE9G76CPA3NMXdGikWNEBa61cqJpgCu0hD78Y7HmIakOL0GjDFG9oSuKZwdn23ESiuolRiNddLthQF4LQLw-E1V4SEIC6xvhLPfLZYc8sJqQeZ1vZ1We7VNgw51S6_lYolRfeFm4/s320/chocbluebabycoverlet.jpg" /></a><br><br>
Next is a Drop In the Pond afghan. The pattern is by Elizabeth Ham and you can find it on Ravelry under her name or the pattern name. This is also for sale on my other blog.<br><br>
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiX37EQ55NXhZzamozi4voveQpsr7iEonAveGrR7NdrmaxZuW3VT50cSRssLunt_C1nwwbOFmC_DhzdvmprevAIaCN85rxhoD05g89S_wNW4WghDu-mWNDYAOUuQBvD42-0lddyMRTIG24d/s1600/ditp2.jpg" imageanchor="1" ><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiX37EQ55NXhZzamozi4voveQpsr7iEonAveGrR7NdrmaxZuW3VT50cSRssLunt_C1nwwbOFmC_DhzdvmprevAIaCN85rxhoD05g89S_wNW4WghDu-mWNDYAOUuQBvD42-0lddyMRTIG24d/s320/ditp2.jpg" /></a><br><br>
Next is a monkey lovey. Also known as a snugglie, snuggle, security blanket, etc. this is a small head of a stuffed animal with a small blanket attached to the head. It is for a child to use as a security blanket or lovey to carry around with them. He can be washed and dried with the regular clothes and be given back to the child as soon as he is clean and spiffy again. It is a pattern I found on line searching for lovey. I made it for a friend for her new great grand child.<br><br>
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgcoA2SURHwDw7FmfngnCE_5BES1yJrcl851PMz6ws7cVPcBCFoWFP5Vt-Xn2eQjGNt3_oX4FxeA36sJerJY9eYusWniLSqtJQL548vJjsFwAn1kEXkWLFgHXrzc1-d8VDY8oKmHju_8X6H/s1600/monkeylovey.jpg" imageanchor="1" ><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgcoA2SURHwDw7FmfngnCE_5BES1yJrcl851PMz6ws7cVPcBCFoWFP5Vt-Xn2eQjGNt3_oX4FxeA36sJerJY9eYusWniLSqtJQL548vJjsFwAn1kEXkWLFgHXrzc1-d8VDY8oKmHju_8X6H/s320/monkeylovey.jpg" /></a><br><br>
Next is some napkin rings I made for a swap. I did a search for napkin rings, and got some ideas and sort of did this up on my own - no true pattern.<br><br>
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqlKyDuTSyy86vROuN9pbQzWz-3Ax02E2s0TtkOYCMo3sUaM4TGZ9REg8Z5eFRFc4ZWvLwB-G5m6gjpTx0m2OBEXLBjRDWix_3kMlJ1av6RAkhADo8Y_gFlgbDTIzGp3kchpL6Ms4gTc_u/s1600/napkinrings.jpg" imageanchor="1" ><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqlKyDuTSyy86vROuN9pbQzWz-3Ax02E2s0TtkOYCMo3sUaM4TGZ9REg8Z5eFRFc4ZWvLwB-G5m6gjpTx0m2OBEXLBjRDWix_3kMlJ1av6RAkhADo8Y_gFlgbDTIzGp3kchpL6Ms4gTc_u/s320/napkinrings.jpg" /></a><br><br>
Next is ripple lapghan I made for one of the local nursing homes. The picture doesn't do the color justice - it is a bright green called limelight - very shocking and the lady that received it loves it!<br><br>
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgs45UQfod7m0Ugc9An1B-1b-LAXZAEyC8S4EUAzLXtN8CSz-iW-hxWjlk7AY5Yanun-m2EoTwMAolv9cltxLwBYg4-ibpbg1g_TAkj2bqWhYAGmpXSKL-EpN3PP-j-A2X-SsxyuWBsqvG_/s1600/ripplebrightgreen.jpg" imageanchor="1" ><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgs45UQfod7m0Ugc9An1B-1b-LAXZAEyC8S4EUAzLXtN8CSz-iW-hxWjlk7AY5Yanun-m2EoTwMAolv9cltxLwBYg4-ibpbg1g_TAkj2bqWhYAGmpXSKL-EpN3PP-j-A2X-SsxyuWBsqvG_/s320/ripplebrightgreen.jpg" /></a><br><br>
And last for today, is a little row counter I made. One of my friends on a crochet group, shared this adorable little tool with us and it took me a bit but I finally was able to make one for myself. It is just a thin dowel with wooden beads that you move to the right and left to help you keep count of your rows as you are crocheting.<br><br>

The first two are crinoline girls. You can find the patterns at www.crochetmemories.com The first is an angel in #10 crochet cotton, made for a friend and the other is just a spring girl made with bamboo lightweight cotton.<br><br>
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7XuoIdHks3QiZ6sCCOmT7zZcjMBcs5VdOo2JI58eNifp9lkqeBGAARqYIxh3QJnpiO740DHcjS1N3BmdRT3VWlITm-e7tdDOVtyZVcv1SkB22benx_VgZQruT93s4hrluISNOXHB9PAMm/s1600/angeldoily.jpg" imageanchor="1" ><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7XuoIdHks3QiZ6sCCOmT7zZcjMBcs5VdOo2JI58eNifp9lkqeBGAARqYIxh3QJnpiO740DHcjS1N3BmdRT3VWlITm-e7tdDOVtyZVcv1SkB22benx_VgZQruT93s4hrluISNOXHB9PAMm/s320/angeldoily.jpg" /></a><br><br>

The next are two potholders or hotpads I made for swap. The first is a snowman potholder - the pattern designer is by Doni Speigle and you can find her patterns on Etsy and Ravelry. <br><br>
The other one is just some dc's formed to a mat and then two reindeer with a tree - I just searched for fridgie patterns and manipulated them to work for this hot pad.<br><br>

Some are holiday themed, some are older items that I could not share till they were "gifted" to the person who received them, and some are just things I forgot to post! Here they are in no order whatsoever......
<br><br>
First is a bunch of 12" squares for two tote bags that were being given to the list leaders of one of my groups. I used various patterns found on the internet.
<br><br>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiS5-P56iILdsX_w2CKQLISrqaXpsJghq06X3FWLbbhrqhEuRp_ojGUsPOAW_zTYjzWL8vaUfwLdixPsU7slLR0i1TZYggg2NgjGfA4M1J143nY1xbx9dhUhxecsGWy3YVMZwzjtdgkY4mf/s1600/anniversarysquares.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="320" width="269" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiS5-P56iILdsX_w2CKQLISrqaXpsJghq06X3FWLbbhrqhEuRp_ojGUsPOAW_zTYjzWL8vaUfwLdixPsU7slLR0i1TZYggg2NgjGfA4M1J143nY1xbx9dhUhxecsGWy3YVMZwzjtdgkY4mf/s320/anniversarysquares.jpg" /></a></div>
<br><br>
Next is an outfit I made for a 5" itty bitty baby doll I received as a gift. It didn't come out the way I wanted it to - but it looks okay for a first try at something like this - especially this little.
<br><br>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEid2XlFJPKi9mbdh4ezNcbWa1M719x49eJe4Lp7tmuAQQeju7pJpoaiNFDlYaz59BfASowAq0bG7gZzglj70w17JvzHpE4Qvddz3M8ucar6aSSDc28EPb0IaeUJG6IIGjNupYfEIfenmooP/s1600/babyoutfit.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="320" width="226" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEid2XlFJPKi9mbdh4ezNcbWa1M719x49eJe4Lp7tmuAQQeju7pJpoaiNFDlYaz59BfASowAq0bG7gZzglj70w17JvzHpE4Qvddz3M8ucar6aSSDc28EPb0IaeUJG6IIGjNupYfEIfenmooP/s320/babyoutfit.jpg" /></a></div>
<br><br>
Next is a plastic bag holder I made for a friend for her grandchild's nursery room. It came from a leaflet entitled "Bag Ladies" - I did make some changes to the pattern.
<br><br>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEicEg5jynKq1hUSKjHN7SIO2_Ls4EuHtorda0VvCcTqLBWJY1ORzNRpnBuHp0z_HdAGZjFMMS44PiaFcMvP_u4z59S7_V8YGNE9ODII4d4dMnx0BqcZh0dBz9itjNY68710wI6xKAch1APU/s1600/grannyladybag.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="320" width="169" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEicEg5jynKq1hUSKjHN7SIO2_Ls4EuHtorda0VvCcTqLBWJY1ORzNRpnBuHp0z_HdAGZjFMMS44PiaFcMvP_u4z59S7_V8YGNE9ODII4d4dMnx0BqcZh0dBz9itjNY68710wI6xKAch1APU/s320/grannyladybag.jpg" /></a></div>
<br><br>
Next is a Lovey - also called a snuggie, snugglie, etc. It is for a child to carry and cuddle. I grew up calling them security blankets. This pattern is from an etsy shop called Petals to Picots.
<br><br>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiztkjpEOXf-avM_C_shfNZD_V8vIVUg-99eSsONzAg9kDUFruOGYVn3JQ3U3cEOPuHgoAiVJPaTM6m-YNKPQO3RFDZJARjGPff9q_FEhZyDo2I8xlannd6GpDHBUdj2Jne6l7bqBnPk-Fx/s1600/monkeylovey.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="181" width="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiztkjpEOXf-avM_C_shfNZD_V8vIVUg-99eSsONzAg9kDUFruOGYVn3JQ3U3cEOPuHgoAiVJPaTM6m-YNKPQO3RFDZJARjGPff9q_FEhZyDo2I8xlannd6GpDHBUdj2Jne6l7bqBnPk-Fx/s320/monkeylovey.jpg" /></a></div>
<br><br>
Next is a scarf I have made many times. I call it the "Rose Folded Scarf" because someone shared on a blog or Facebook that you could roll it up and it looks like a Rose! I think it does and it makes a stunning gift. It was from a Joann's tear off sheet pattern.
<br><br>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3PG2trUSVBik5ofy0O-AljTrTXxFgB9hgUa3NTPPxvkZItFi929WdDac0TSroLjmBgkcujxgafzg2o5tZUzxiZ6B1fD4jIYz394sXi92h8mT4WHAlGCgk2yXh6ffsJfLDNE85AeDbnIl3/s1600/yellowrosescarf.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="320" width="248" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3PG2trUSVBik5ofy0O-AljTrTXxFgB9hgUa3NTPPxvkZItFi929WdDac0TSroLjmBgkcujxgafzg2o5tZUzxiZ6B1fD4jIYz394sXi92h8mT4WHAlGCgk2yXh6ffsJfLDNE85AeDbnIl3/s320/yellowrosescarf.jpg" /></a></div>
<br><br>
Next is a chicken shaped discloth. I saw a charted pattern on a foreign language website and tried it out - I haven't worked out all the kinks on it but I hope to soon. I've lost the website address - but I'm trying to find it again to share.
<br><br>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhaY3F4zBGh2VrUmJFNiWakWudt321-hXe9RR7hTNNEP8iHS0NWme9dvYkLDp7o8XVDDhZ_TqM_L4oUmQdyFwQG7xgXyE199oZyc23H4K9HSJ2e5LVwTwhBf5u3R1-MvMpOlhcGFB64gZ_a/s1600/chickendishcloth.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="320" width="306" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhaY3F4zBGh2VrUmJFNiWakWudt321-hXe9RR7hTNNEP8iHS0NWme9dvYkLDp7o8XVDDhZ_TqM_L4oUmQdyFwQG7xgXyE199oZyc23H4K9HSJ2e5LVwTwhBf5u3R1-MvMpOlhcGFB64gZ_a/s320/chickendishcloth.jpg" /></a></div>
<br><br>
Next is another dishcloth. It is one from Maggie's Crochet - called Swirl. I liked working it up.
<br><br>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiNRdLXup3sSbI9lszq8WiRcXM2_4RMKqtVRk_hzyKP-cEQczVM6zTrp09juGZ-WfS_-5UR62BlwPfTRnF2kvxA5i2rpx-6aQboFROvCD82cYOlX-knuULEfhw_MGz3SJyoC73-B1bT1hx0/s1600/swirldishcloth.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="318" width="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiNRdLXup3sSbI9lszq8WiRcXM2_4RMKqtVRk_hzyKP-cEQczVM6zTrp09juGZ-WfS_-5UR62BlwPfTRnF2kvxA5i2rpx-6aQboFROvCD82cYOlX-knuULEfhw_MGz3SJyoC73-B1bT1hx0/s320/swirldishcloth.jpg" /></a></div>
<br><br>
This is a sweet and easy shawl to make. I made if for someone going through a hard time. You can find the pattern at <a href=http://www.etsy.com/shop/popelkaLida>Popelkalida</a>. I show a full back view and then a back view of it folded around the person.
<br><br>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjoA6U9BR5nfPf6mY8C9leCx2za7gOidqOLKC4-LfO5rZFvCy8fZXPjJBeJxV3XbfPtUgRXa2Bqmb-Zfb8Kr8M8fmgPVMWwYDSJjUoxEY2-dOpqEFikmNA6xC82QYy2q7VbyXzBIFnWPKd2/s1600/cinderellashawl1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="227" width="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjoA6U9BR5nfPf6mY8C9leCx2za7gOidqOLKC4-LfO5rZFvCy8fZXPjJBeJxV3XbfPtUgRXa2Bqmb-Zfb8Kr8M8fmgPVMWwYDSJjUoxEY2-dOpqEFikmNA6xC82QYy2q7VbyXzBIFnWPKd2/s320/cinderellashawl1.jpg" /></a></div>

Next is my Pumpkin House. I had a lot of fun making this for my holiday decor. I got the pattern at this shop <a href=http://www.craftsforangelsdesigns.com>Crafts for Angels Designs</a>

<br><br>
And last is my Teddy Bear filet baby blanket. It is from a book I've had for years, but to be honest I have the page copied out and I can't remember which book it is from! I will look and see if I can update this post with the name of the book.

First is a prayer shawl I made for a friend who is having some difficult times. I did it in Caron Simply Soft yarn in heather gray. I am sorry but I am unable to share the pattern - it was a test for someone and they have not yet issued it for publication.
<br><br>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br><br>
Next is a grocery bag holder. You know how all those plastic bags get used one way or another? Well this is an adorable angel one! I purchased the pattern at <a href=http://www.cutecrochet.com/>Cute Crochet</a>
<br><br>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br><br>
That is it for today - now off to try to make a baby cupcake hat! Been having all sorts of issues with different patterns!

It was one potholder and your favorite recipe. Well of course I did more than that, not too much, just a little bit.
<br><br>
First is the dishcloth. The pattern if from America's Best - I got it as a tear off from a store.
<br><br>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhb0zBEjYthv_WLVaNZg-NgL11UhSbdMu8oxL_teByjPKIrrbxzTgKKNpqQKeAfD6E-mKDyM3QyFTny6WS_vZGK8bS0GUN0iee5wAwzTnWw1gaxIkKkgqMQbLeXzueYUx4VKp4Tz7NS-NPY/s1600/greendishcloth.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="297" width="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhb0zBEjYthv_WLVaNZg-NgL11UhSbdMu8oxL_teByjPKIrrbxzTgKKNpqQKeAfD6E-mKDyM3QyFTny6WS_vZGK8bS0GUN0iee5wAwzTnWw1gaxIkKkgqMQbLeXzueYUx4VKp4Tz7NS-NPY/s320/greendishcloth.jpg" /></a></div>
<br><br>
Now the potholder. The pattern is called Broken Dishes and I found the pattern in an older magazine.
<br><br>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEht6EbkERB4ye_bhKWIia34JmPAYnYA7yXM7CsLH01AM04U0JCz4SYGPh776tvXfTlemB4UV6XHP8AT9rW8VMiq-MXyOJZN0mRCWe2on54nm1oEpIrydgdKiXtvrKpqyd3Glk1s1CkUMvhc/s1600/brokendishespotholder.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="320" width="311" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEht6EbkERB4ye_bhKWIia34JmPAYnYA7yXM7CsLH01AM04U0JCz4SYGPh776tvXfTlemB4UV6XHP8AT9rW8VMiq-MXyOJZN0mRCWe2on54nm1oEpIrydgdKiXtvrKpqyd3Glk1s1CkUMvhc/s320/brokendishespotholder.jpg" /></a></div>

<br><br>
The first one is a Sailboat Wall Hanging I made for a friend's grandson. I had such fun making this - searching for beads, and heart shapes and the actual crocheting and then putting it all together! I found the pattern here at <a href=http://bunnymummy-jacquie.blogspot.com/2012/06/sail-away-crochet-pattern.html>Sail Away</a>
<br><br>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br><br>
Second and last for today is a lapghan called Drop in the Pond. I did it white, red and black. I think it is a striking color combination. I donated it to our local nursing home and they are going to raffle it off! Such a blessing. I found the pattern at <a href=http://www.freewebs.com/bethintx/dropinthepondlaprobe.htm>Drop in the Pond </a>

<br><br>
First is a baby blanket I made for the NICU of a hospital near a friend. She donates items to them and I sent her a few blankets to add to her gift. The blanket is from this site - <a href=http://www.perfect-baby-shower-gifts.com/shadows-baby-car-blanket.html>Baby Car Blanket</a>
<br><br>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br><br>
Next is a weave looking blanket. This is from a Leisure Arts book that I currently can't find - but if I do I will share the booklet's name.
<br><br>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh0GYVqkb6eOwKwTg88AWbr32Sd7F7eMD8DUqCfisl7-zTBtO6dJbbcILy7q3VFH0dEzIRq37KCanSS7HHhZFaZTKO-INk-ri-gJxZb0LX_vw8hlCGK_S0QJHjD-tDHh0xErQUQy5lzKQBe/s1600/weavebabyblanket.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="222" width="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh0GYVqkb6eOwKwTg88AWbr32Sd7F7eMD8DUqCfisl7-zTBtO6dJbbcILy7q3VFH0dEzIRq37KCanSS7HHhZFaZTKO-INk-ri-gJxZb0LX_vw8hlCGK_S0QJHjD-tDHh0xErQUQy5lzKQBe/s320/weavebabyblanket.jpg" /></a></div>
<br><br>
And last for today is a clam family! There are two blue boys and two pink girls! I am trying to name them, but so far can't seem to come up with names that fit them. One girl and one boy will be leaving our little family soon to take a trip all the way from our home in Tennessee to meet their new family in New Hampshire. The girls are very special due to their rare gold sparkled shells and the boys, being a rare blue, also with those gold sparkled shells are extremely rare and sought after - but they will be safe with our friends/family and we know they will be well loved for years to come.
<br><br>
The yarn is gorgeous Red Heart Shimmer and the pattern is called "Clarence the Clam" and is available on Etsy.
<br>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br><br>
Thank you for always looking and encouraging me.

It has been a bit but I have been busy with things away from crafts for a bit - but all is okay now.
First is a basket I made for a friend. It was my own design by the flower is from Bonita Patterns - it is called Croco Flower.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_Oc3nu8Z6u_zn_wrS77NS4r1Yif4FhHoypZG9BXtwOxkIwmi8AoLhJurBdlksM3BhHAaQVe8_0sBb9qqEdwSA29HpQynnlkZFy1hIIZ-XEOkyNx-aVJnA2ud7Dt_I5NM7QsjUTeYZ0vEd/s1600/basket.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="320" width="226" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_Oc3nu8Z6u_zn_wrS77NS4r1Yif4FhHoypZG9BXtwOxkIwmi8AoLhJurBdlksM3BhHAaQVe8_0sBb9qqEdwSA29HpQynnlkZFy1hIIZ-XEOkyNx-aVJnA2ud7Dt_I5NM7QsjUTeYZ0vEd/s320/basket.jpg" /></a></div><br><br>
Next is a little baby bear I made for another friend. I found the pattern at Crafty Expressions. Mine didn't even come close to hers but the friend said she liked it, so hopefully it's all okay in the end.<br><br>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwRcXwyuN0t1kIbUrQfa9uQh2mW2jJQBUrmHiivt3d_3WUdxPU-6vJQ5O-sMHJRQnu7W416L9fUvCXWwyzggSvLKv9UT0fvFqHgdw8nuv6XntuwjTrrDDCpnCKorx0L7Ru7_K1ZHHcElDe/s1600/babybear.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="320" width="272" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwRcXwyuN0t1kIbUrQfa9uQh2mW2jJQBUrmHiivt3d_3WUdxPU-6vJQ5O-sMHJRQnu7W416L9fUvCXWwyzggSvLKv9UT0fvFqHgdw8nuv6XntuwjTrrDDCpnCKorx0L7Ru7_K1ZHHcElDe/s320/babybear.jpg" /></a></div><br><br>
And last is a blanket I made for a NICU unit. A friend of mine donates a bunch of items to them monthly and I offered to make a few items for her to add to the box. I found this pattern at Lisa Lately's Blog. She called the blanket Easy Baby Blanket.<br><br>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

That's all for now - be back soon, hopefullyDeborah Misfithttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06135143235379409620noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9018594386898927727.post-10826712070789170672012-06-24T21:56:00.000-04:002012-06-24T21:56:12.580-04:00Some Other Crafts and a Crocheted BasketI have been working on some things that are not crocheted. I had fun with these projects.
<br><br>
First is a set of dog magnets. Plastic Canvas and I think they look like a little Scottie and Westie looking at each other.
<br><br>
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0ve1a3Q3Sn4Xuo9Em_okK5fUJORVVLNaI3T6tg1Txs2b6iK-bKJ9_cmQ9eyKnsNCQp2e7UfKxV3wsnbod9bROs75km_F1YATqAN5b1JuR_yPIM0Kjkc6eBMCrbFBFL6dII4zYkUuyKovL/s1600/dogmagnets.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="178" width="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0ve1a3Q3Sn4Xuo9Em_okK5fUJORVVLNaI3T6tg1Txs2b6iK-bKJ9_cmQ9eyKnsNCQp2e7UfKxV3wsnbod9bROs75km_F1YATqAN5b1JuR_yPIM0Kjkc6eBMCrbFBFL6dII4zYkUuyKovL/s320/dogmagnets.jpg" /></a>
<br><br>
Second is a little needlepoint of a hummingbird. It has some pretty colors, I think.
<br><br>
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkS7kTRIqiTXeDHpaWkeb6HrxytKlLnIc3TvqVSdD4cwlOcxeFt2WuJg2aoiiPf4Nkp2c9Dwk3MXPlvf8ydDtEeBOrv_O6OSs6p2uwo6i4A0p5qfTlbdc8hjiKZenByzueIubkzGbIGXg8/s1600/hummingbirdnpoint.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="320" width="248" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkS7kTRIqiTXeDHpaWkeb6HrxytKlLnIc3TvqVSdD4cwlOcxeFt2WuJg2aoiiPf4Nkp2c9Dwk3MXPlvf8ydDtEeBOrv_O6OSs6p2uwo6i4A0p5qfTlbdc8hjiKZenByzueIubkzGbIGXg8/s320/hummingbirdnpoint.jpg" /></a>
<br><br>
Third is a set of two coasters for a friend/swapper with her initial from her last name cross stitched. They are done in purple, which is one her favorite colors.

<br><br>
Fourth is a plant hanger also for a friend/swapper. It is done in cotton yarn that is called Spring Meadow. It is yellow, brown, green and white variegated. It's holding my plant for the picture.
<br><br>
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjtq_Q8EjiEJ6JgFlnZ-aqgvt4QxHnfgup4SL53mQhmS5slHHyop4qNmd61GQSAoGHv4tmPLGThBnJZEjqYMr35TPo6DXDntx5jKj0MCqG_G6xX4WL0-Pdx-lweVVia3N0FaHJTajpr0c7f/s1600/planthanger.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="320" width="146" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjtq_Q8EjiEJ6JgFlnZ-aqgvt4QxHnfgup4SL53mQhmS5slHHyop4qNmd61GQSAoGHv4tmPLGThBnJZEjqYMr35TPo6DXDntx5jKj0MCqG_G6xX4WL0-Pdx-lweVVia3N0FaHJTajpr0c7f/s320/planthanger.jpg" /></a>
<br><br>
And last for right now, is a basket I made. There is no pattern for this - I just did what I thought looked nice.

I went to the Bernese Mountain Dog Specialty with Kathy and Harry for a few days the first part of May. It was held in Gettsyburg, PA. A lovely city and lots to do too! We enjoyed our stay and Rosie, our Bernese Mountain Dog - got a show ribbon and award! It was the first time Harry went to a dog show and I think he enjoyed it. Kathy and I, of course, always enjoy the shows. Also, Kathy, has had to have some procedures in preparation for open heart surgery - so we have been a bit busy. But I did get pictures taken of things I made before all this happened just haven't had a chance to share them. Well here they are!
<br><br>
First is my offerings for an exchange I joined in on one of my swap groups. This was fun. I made my partner a tote bag and filled it with goodies for her.
<br><br>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdnTE-QnUMIiWWjK1HZbIWezvvDOWy087WeDtHw5nRKcGNxgabNezS2uU-95Ym-WGPQ9t9TFuBsJYf8N9ro3SPdevR4S3hJKOYfZeGkiMX6waVztsMtMXKeY8FFCli6k9Br9D6NhlgFNDi/s1600/maycfexchange.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="320" width="298" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdnTE-QnUMIiWWjK1HZbIWezvvDOWy087WeDtHw5nRKcGNxgabNezS2uU-95Ym-WGPQ9t9TFuBsJYf8N9ro3SPdevR4S3hJKOYfZeGkiMX6waVztsMtMXKeY8FFCli6k9Br9D6NhlgFNDi/s320/maycfexchange.jpg" /></a></div>
<br><br>
Then after my partner received it - and liked it.....her twin sister liked it too....so I made her a bag as well!
<br><br>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXVyakIHQcwhxCeMEF6aDn6VTixpW0BrNkKC12YRkcx7_vYf9t9xNy7V38i5SrhZ4fnTv4ciKMziFhGj63rmaIyIF1q9CFk0DvkiRIzu6MBdbzt1Rv03JBJxKbPJl4rG0qTfbnuNpXKl98/s1600/corasbag2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="320" width="282" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXVyakIHQcwhxCeMEF6aDn6VTixpW0BrNkKC12YRkcx7_vYf9t9xNy7V38i5SrhZ4fnTv4ciKMziFhGj63rmaIyIF1q9CFk0DvkiRIzu6MBdbzt1Rv03JBJxKbPJl4rG0qTfbnuNpXKl98/s320/corasbag2.jpg" /></a></div>
<br><br>
And next is another tote I made, not sure what I'm going to do with it yet - probably send it as a swap item for a future swap. Just really enjoying making these totes.
<br><br>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br><br>
Next are pictures of a shawl I made for another swap - I made it with Caron Simply Soft yarn in Permission. I think it came out really pretty and the shawl can be worn in so many ways. I've show two ways here.

<br><br>
Last to share for today is a child's purse I made - it was a fun item to make!
<br><br>
Update on the Child's Purse - I didn't share at the time of the post the link to this pattern - here it is: <a href=http://cats-rockin-crochet.blogspot.com/2008/02/crochet-dress-bag-pattern>Child's Purse</a>

Queen Victoria crocheted and promoted it by doing these lovely works of art - simple but elegant crocheted scarves/sashes for soldiers!
Enjoy!!Deborah Misfithttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06135143235379409620noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9018594386898927727.post-59279247830244839452012-04-22T12:10:00.001-04:002012-04-22T12:10:33.622-04:00It's me again back with some more completed projects.
First is tea cozy I made for a friend - it is similiar in colors to the other one I made a while back - but thought I'd share it anyways! I got the pattern on line by searching for Tea Cozy.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgTXrdD3KslN2dMjPMlHqPyntiu4B-Ndw_CSd-tw8bTselbJLtWR_carqphOjE7Vx9VyHXYlMCLknDzzslygWe-VScwPwtLFfcFrEYtYcYQVsUfSeGI38YLAEZSODgFBOBK4l_gkglDBGiq/s1600/2ndteacozy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="306" width="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgTXrdD3KslN2dMjPMlHqPyntiu4B-Ndw_CSd-tw8bTselbJLtWR_carqphOjE7Vx9VyHXYlMCLknDzzslygWe-VScwPwtLFfcFrEYtYcYQVsUfSeGI38YLAEZSODgFBOBK4l_gkglDBGiq/s320/2ndteacozy.jpg" /></a></div>
Second is a bunch of daisies I made also for a friend. They are a bit top heavy and I think I will change them if I do them again to make sure that doesn't happen. The person is pleased and is going to work out something to make them stand taller. If you bend the stems in half they stand a bit better. This is a pattern from Lily - the cotton yarn manufacturer.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEioiRW-tO6Iv2z_PpwchgacKjLxdiIiKGbwsYBbxtl4N9k6YXqTNBYbG72BIgTkc2baInTmvcE-F1de2JJQcotbjKinn0jN5AR_dCaoL-Fg8CUNqXdVMh2ZzttxBMCelnwVL9cBIdebfUrq/s1600/daisies.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="320" width="311" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEioiRW-tO6Iv2z_PpwchgacKjLxdiIiKGbwsYBbxtl4N9k6YXqTNBYbG72BIgTkc2baInTmvcE-F1de2JJQcotbjKinn0jN5AR_dCaoL-Fg8CUNqXdVMh2ZzttxBMCelnwVL9cBIdebfUrq/s320/daisies.jpg" /></a></div>
Third are two flower squares. The pink and purple centered on is from a book but the other one is from Luba Davis - you can find her patterns on etsy! They are very well written and she has some lovely squares and other items for sale as patterns.

L<strike><strike></strike></strike>ast is a tote bag for me! It is from Crochet! Magazine - from a set called A Day at the Beach - I really like how long and roomy it is - it fits great with me in my wheelchair. And it's pink so of course I love it!

I found both patterns on the web by searching for Bread Dishcloth and Egg Dishcloth (the egg was actually an amigurami with the yolk part stuffed but I adapted it).<br /><br />This first picture is of just the bread slice.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJZeIlpZqL_6G-1MLKsop1nKVk2sofJy9LKq_SWhg_xB7pD_0rZ2f9DrL69JOJIE0xeYbuuV1mGAjKUo99VswFQg8IvBWPap1A1uREYQrWyn3ybTI3iM3T3l-Pbx5apIKxZzTTCEQHaCGv/s1600/breaddishcloth.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 319px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJZeIlpZqL_6G-1MLKsop1nKVk2sofJy9LKq_SWhg_xB7pD_0rZ2f9DrL69JOJIE0xeYbuuV1mGAjKUo99VswFQg8IvBWPap1A1uREYQrWyn3ybTI3iM3T3l-Pbx5apIKxZzTTCEQHaCGv/s320/breaddishcloth.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5729444832214021650" /></a><br /><br />This next picture is of the egg on the bread.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgagEWV54sE6IS_5Sa5GyoPXVbLjeCBD_B42AVMXciWM_tig0WyGdG3RLpDUQd98kdOyyUq2U4GMQdOKsPkifSOWA15sfB5V_6vTER-_ekn_iptOMMMwJBLQ7e4yVYJHEvI6vfhVU4YkFb3/s1600/eggontoastdishcloth.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 309px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgagEWV54sE6IS_5Sa5GyoPXVbLjeCBD_B42AVMXciWM_tig0WyGdG3RLpDUQd98kdOyyUq2U4GMQdOKsPkifSOWA15sfB5V_6vTER-_ekn_iptOMMMwJBLQ7e4yVYJHEvI6vfhVU4YkFb3/s320/eggontoastdishcloth.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5729444839948820850" /></a><br /><br />And, finally, here is the Egg Sandwich!!<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMkmaCaSJmT-3RNS7-6kabrZlT_Q-J9sZOfEgWrqmS-beZcjFpJ4vxRLQdmAQHc2rQD_HEg8fyBQXvYA2r9R0YUhCaUzdY0Qcj5d0yCZ6f_vLihy_RWHmfml-lS802OVyKQAk2abJ3YZZY/s1600/eggsandwichdishcloth.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 256px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMkmaCaSJmT-3RNS7-6kabrZlT_Q-J9sZOfEgWrqmS-beZcjFpJ4vxRLQdmAQHc2rQD_HEg8fyBQXvYA2r9R0YUhCaUzdY0Qcj5d0yCZ6f_vLihy_RWHmfml-lS802OVyKQAk2abJ3YZZY/s320/eggsandwichdishcloth.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5729444854514919442" /></a><br /><br />Are you laughing yet?<br /><br />Next is a bunch of dark red roses I made for a friend. I took an afghan pattern and just made the one square, but did it Tunisian Crochet. This was my first try at changing colors - I had a few issues - but the receiver says its lovely - so I'll take her word for it! The pattern was called Bunny Square I think - I didn't save it - but I found it through a google search.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMO_TUiAT9gpYx4QcrqOSKuxcypqOfCLSwlMvD1mUFMzfpFOmNkdr1XiZ5ECOlkxvSx1bezuh8P0PjMZEipwNZflfG4yrenUMLGhuwW75xQSGeyu6BVPr6ZuBFigkh1Ah_HHCH0nz-_d_Q/s1600/bunnysquare.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 259px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMO_TUiAT9gpYx4QcrqOSKuxcypqOfCLSwlMvD1mUFMzfpFOmNkdr1XiZ5ECOlkxvSx1bezuh8P0PjMZEipwNZflfG4yrenUMLGhuwW75xQSGeyu6BVPr6ZuBFigkh1Ah_HHCH0nz-_d_Q/s320/bunnysquare.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5729444864840779234" /></a>Deborah Misfithttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06135143235379409620noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9018594386898927727.post-41871030357043341742012-03-20T10:58:00.002-04:002012-07-26T19:31:05.046-04:00Just Two ScarvesHello, just popping in with two new scarves I made.<br /><br />The first is a Bunny Peep Scarf I made for my heart niece, Haileigh. I did it in bright yellow. The pattern is from Etsy - it's called "Coco Scarf by Rebecca Glaze" - enjoyable pattern!<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5bDKD891mX5yzeefJ7OZREcdlq0qH7F6cVBFIyyp9KHdmCvTNVUVTVprRBRk5w4oW6-fsuyNITqxRL7tUP6Jhd1rYYdT_pgut1yC7kRGiKc2kNwCBDF5PoUpuBYnrsCrtvsyQ7D0UU2WV/s1600/bunnypeepscarf.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 162px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5bDKD891mX5yzeefJ7OZREcdlq0qH7F6cVBFIyyp9KHdmCvTNVUVTVprRBRk5w4oW6-fsuyNITqxRL7tUP6Jhd1rYYdT_pgut1yC7kRGiKc2kNwCBDF5PoUpuBYnrsCrtvsyQ7D0UU2WV/s320/bunnypeepscarf.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5721997704741595170" /></a><br /><br />And second is a Frilly Scarf. This is from the Red Heart Sashay Yarn and is the pattern that you can get from Red Heart for the scarf - it is pattern number LW2750 Frilly Crochet Scarf. It's sort of odd to get used to working with this ribbon style yarn, but once you get it - it's actually very easy!<br /> <br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUtRdlOR9FblIxBbeCO4gYEKDMLLWtmF5Sidh-pEgWUmMzr4lqk6SuFg_3QIUGKAVJ-wmPe-55VsZZn7X6K_1L_XTOYZ4Y089MNaxvqCz0PplzfPVwbm2oqtCVGZ5cJRHnjLRQssn6345N/s1600/frillyscarfpink.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 166px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUtRdlOR9FblIxBbeCO4gYEKDMLLWtmF5Sidh-pEgWUmMzr4lqk6SuFg_3QIUGKAVJ-wmPe-55VsZZn7X6K_1L_XTOYZ4Y089MNaxvqCz0PplzfPVwbm2oqtCVGZ5cJRHnjLRQssn6345N/s320/frillyscarfpink.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5721997722003842514" /></a><br /><br />That is it for now! Thanks to my SIL Kathy and my husband Harry, they cut out the insert of wood in the shape of the hat for me to crochet around, and then Harry added the hanging hooks and wire for it to be hung on the door! Isn't it great? It could be decorated in so many ways! First is a purple and white wine bottle cover. Makes a great gift wrap idea. You can find the pattern at <a href=http://crochetroo.blogspot.com/2006/11/happy-bottle-bags-free-crochet-pattern.html>Wine Bottle Cover</a><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmwaHeD89r6rt7sr-tNtoRE4WUmrZHRRULoQUPkHBy8H1LzsYb5fjscRgIwvlNxnz-KwQqYC51Mia2CixRgorwtDRhX3c9FXfKD-iBWC7IYj8xtfS9h93rH3TW8H3mwx753LiUgHPEYDi7/s1600/purplewinebottlecover.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 147px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmwaHeD89r6rt7sr-tNtoRE4WUmrZHRRULoQUPkHBy8H1LzsYb5fjscRgIwvlNxnz-KwQqYC51Mia2CixRgorwtDRhX3c9FXfKD-iBWC7IYj8xtfS9h93rH3TW8H3mwx753LiUgHPEYDi7/s320/purplewinebottlecover.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5686394574016250722" /></a><br /><br />Next is a little heart doily I made for a friend on one of my lists. You can find the pattern at <a href=http://www.kaleidesigns.com/crochet/patterns/archive/doil002.html>Heart Doily</a><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDm-_QGZZdTrwfXLd3x3Gp6Nl3TCeWEVzUjRzNgYockhpCuztvffR5JnkJzzCGDQiwR7FRED46TroFQ7-oDvZXUniE99OajTssus1sTbo6bstGEugmRJdXjnhKlKhCQUI4gh6Qa-KD-mVf/s1600/heartdoily.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 295px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDm-_QGZZdTrwfXLd3x3Gp6Nl3TCeWEVzUjRzNgYockhpCuztvffR5JnkJzzCGDQiwR7FRED46TroFQ7-oDvZXUniE99OajTssus1sTbo6bstGEugmRJdXjnhKlKhCQUI4gh6Qa-KD-mVf/s320/heartdoily.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5686394569662420018" /></a><br /><br />Next is a cornflower blue with silver thread running through it that I made for myself- this pattern was from an old magazine.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmixQZn1rgd_kRZLIBC99-YLG5m0NXjfv8cTE_D4f1AliM10i7K4R9CuUkKtpmrA-ivgQ6taLP2NkqjG3dXiKZUEtElvaC3fb5etdKX9-QlyFFZqOxdW3is1E0RrvHa-44BtIE7l1g-juL/s1600/cornflowerbluedoily.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 254px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmixQZn1rgd_kRZLIBC99-YLG5m0NXjfv8cTE_D4f1AliM10i7K4R9CuUkKtpmrA-ivgQ6taLP2NkqjG3dXiKZUEtElvaC3fb5etdKX9-QlyFFZqOxdW3is1E0RrvHa-44BtIE7l1g-juL/s320/cornflowerbluedoily.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5686394552811129618" /></a><br /><br />Next is a square I made from a pattern from The Needlecrafter Shop - it was a collectors series that I received in the mail years ago. I made it slightly bigger than the original pattern - I wanted it to be a 12" square.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjnbEXYMnZP564B7MFswCl-SaatwG_nkTW-54S6D7B63CJbi0MMtnMIiHP8D7Qm5QUrVNJ4j_uf0vNfA0Zxg07zbg6RgGZjHATFuwkL9k8-AmNKIovBnlsyBw4yQCta9joxuotPRrzGBqBB/s1600/purpletestsquare.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 256px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjnbEXYMnZP564B7MFswCl-SaatwG_nkTW-54S6D7B63CJbi0MMtnMIiHP8D7Qm5QUrVNJ4j_uf0vNfA0Zxg07zbg6RgGZjHATFuwkL9k8-AmNKIovBnlsyBw4yQCta9joxuotPRrzGBqBB/s320/purpletestsquare.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5686394582501121922" /></a><br /><br />And finally and the most treasured item I have right now - is my Christmas lapghan. I was in a swap for months sharing Christmas colored squares with other swappers - I put mine together for myself - first lapghan for just me! I love it - and I can not take any credit but that I sewed them together!<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2w50TtZ45LOSWSMN78X2PzdKF9uuPQiBoEJhUu6-VtaR0YTx8z4M_n3-m1AZHNAY0uKzlVJmdUeooV1kzWxIgUaVD-24yi0WoM7SH52oBOq-s-f2GTs7V2o-tkyh-Nau7Ccnw4WwK5A6Q/s1600/christmaslapghan.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 314px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2w50TtZ45LOSWSMN78X2PzdKF9uuPQiBoEJhUu6-VtaR0YTx8z4M_n3-m1AZHNAY0uKzlVJmdUeooV1kzWxIgUaVD-24yi0WoM7SH52oBOq-s-f2GTs7V2o-tkyh-Nau7Ccnw4WwK5A6Q/s320/christmaslapghan.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5686394548419996290" /></a><br /><br />Be back soon with more.Deborah Misfithttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06135143235379409620noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9018594386898927727.post-74515266485723602882011-12-07T12:11:00.003-05:002011-12-07T12:48:20.520-05:00Cupcake Hat, African Hexagon Flowers, etc.Well of course, I have some more completed projects! First is a Cupcake Hat I made for my heart niece. The first view is it standing up and the second view is it laying flat. It is black for the wrapper, pink for the 'cupcake' and a red cherry on top! I found the pattern on line - just look for cupcake hat. I forgot to save the link - sorry.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiL7JC7_Xx52IUAGatJErzAm29MrXNEBdcIFVf-bywX-d0SQM7NlSsBBmzwUyzE9lQn-orM-Sw2sYW6amC-UG_OweyqKYC6N6uRXp392im66a_4Fr3CaDORo69myaKBnJxcPQw9U1FroCyB/s1600/cupcakestand.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiL7JC7_Xx52IUAGatJErzAm29MrXNEBdcIFVf-bywX-d0SQM7NlSsBBmzwUyzE9lQn-orM-Sw2sYW6amC-UG_OweyqKYC6N6uRXp392im66a_4Fr3CaDORo69myaKBnJxcPQw9U1FroCyB/s320/cupcakestand.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5683438411006948338" /></a><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhtIrAKhVxdisyUzmFaLOBs6ET7vayk-nkPYgHZRrXycw9me_pjjlG4IjRX2ycdgH4HRQqzYf6qjILFXZSZ-v3_i8gcB26OBKIAo_mMGhnB_VW6BMAsLmNTf_SGpCWF9wzR6-CgAQ8fc7St/s1600/cupcakeflat.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 258px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhtIrAKhVxdisyUzmFaLOBs6ET7vayk-nkPYgHZRrXycw9me_pjjlG4IjRX2ycdgH4HRQqzYf6qjILFXZSZ-v3_i8gcB26OBKIAo_mMGhnB_VW6BMAsLmNTf_SGpCWF9wzR6-CgAQ8fc7St/s320/cupcakeflat.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5683438408555572738" /></a><br /><br />Next is another beanie for my heart niece. I thought all baby yarns were the same, NOT!!!! So with that in mind, when I put the squares together they became an Irregular Teddy Bear! But now that I have learned that the one I am making next will be right on target - I hope. The pattern was found on the way back machine and was more of a guide than a true pattern, so I did it my way and I think it's came out okay other than the lining up of the squares.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdlweZCxkeUx-jKF0xehwZH47ae2EgNVHKEd4gQyN1aS-rWxtFg90uTXNJxfiU3i-wWaM2pcXm7iVjCdJ7M_093ZauvTbPKW4_O9L1_WR36chAHW9cpz2HRI5sf5rq3p3z9bTDaXTi92Q4/s1600/teddybearirr.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 276px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdlweZCxkeUx-jKF0xehwZH47ae2EgNVHKEd4gQyN1aS-rWxtFg90uTXNJxfiU3i-wWaM2pcXm7iVjCdJ7M_093ZauvTbPKW4_O9L1_WR36chAHW9cpz2HRI5sf5rq3p3z9bTDaXTi92Q4/s320/teddybearirr.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5677857053651037426" /></a><br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhlk6HqIEeuIs4IlQJkr8OtgimQ8sBEMuOcSYaVy2M8CWB8QiXh-StF_eBOAqF4iJvQJ0Demp7J1U5iMclu6TlmC9EvLSZCy4HwEntRvw7Otf24rZeaxzpeNARL9C4Lcqui2LGJQEnHjK0Y/s1600/teddybearirr2.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 233px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhlk6HqIEeuIs4IlQJkr8OtgimQ8sBEMuOcSYaVy2M8CWB8QiXh-StF_eBOAqF4iJvQJ0Demp7J1U5iMclu6TlmC9EvLSZCy4HwEntRvw7Otf24rZeaxzpeNARL9C4Lcqui2LGJQEnHjK0Y/s320/teddybearirr2.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5677857063329556978" /></a><br /><br />Be back soon with more to share.Deborah Misfithttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06135143235379409620noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9018594386898927727.post-89033777154210850692011-11-19T12:57:00.004-05:002011-11-19T13:49:53.886-05:00Wow lots of stuff to share today!Well first I changed back to the other layout with some things here and there tweaked - I didn't like that other one, all my side bar items had disappeared!<br /><br />Okay now onto my newest stack of completed projects!<br /><br />First is a scrap shawl - I got the pattern at <a href=http://crochet.about.com/od/Shawls/a/how-to-crochet-a-shawl-using-scrap-yarn.htm>Scrap Shawl</a> It is a great way to use up those medium to large size balls of leftover yarn! It came out very pretty and it is being donated to one of the nursing home residents.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXhL8w4oNqBiIvz2YnNt2KgqI1ZXH5G5Iq0UFdW1VZBZ2rk7QgbChpvnSgFqn0WJiJLo4bbKHtB8bXmDDcJQ_oH6crxMBO882pCmvhCelMLp4hSjHFxHZ-hAdwJ-iFm5XJD-G0rnBA6TdO/s1600/scrapshawl.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 221px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXhL8w4oNqBiIvz2YnNt2KgqI1ZXH5G5Iq0UFdW1VZBZ2rk7QgbChpvnSgFqn0WJiJLo4bbKHtB8bXmDDcJQ_oH6crxMBO882pCmvhCelMLp4hSjHFxHZ-hAdwJ-iFm5XJD-G0rnBA6TdO/s320/scrapshawl.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5676772991510603266" /></a><br /><br />Next is another 12 Point Round Ripple - I love this pattern - I've used it often. <a href=http://project-angel-kisses.150m.com/roundripple.html>Round Ripple</a> I did this one in peach and cream - I'm calling it Creamscile! The yarn has a little sparkle in it and it's so pretty!<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5d4egKLPuFqeD5AfnUn79UG2LIBkRcFa3xXPqVluEKsqiERk0x4N8OXheoMpfwyTjDWdntzE058fzEM04nh2zNdoChn8ziOh8oVxOg6Uu3vZ1ZaVjdABtmtNhi8BTKBkQ6-x5yww3MWYt/s1600/creamsicleblanket.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 257px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5d4egKLPuFqeD5AfnUn79UG2LIBkRcFa3xXPqVluEKsqiERk0x4N8OXheoMpfwyTjDWdntzE058fzEM04nh2zNdoChn8ziOh8oVxOg6Uu3vZ1ZaVjdABtmtNhi8BTKBkQ6-x5yww3MWYt/s320/creamsicleblanket.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5676772977875436322" /></a><br /><br />Next is an Angel Wings Shawl - I made this for my partner in the Handmade Gift Exchange - from my previous posts - I do so hope she likes it. You can find the pattern at <a href=http://qualitycrochet4fun.blogspot.com/2008/07/angel-wings-shawl-pattern.html>Angel Wings Shawl</a> I did it in a soft white but I did change the edging a bit.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVDhbhIOGt6wRkc6dsybA8kBQTX5LJAdiaRP7w__g36v40QAMSlmVazRwgvzrxbhT4Kr0SD9QVQUXO_37tLYKh4h_IqWt848THKqoUjr2TAJvVR77x6PUfVT5KVHOFqwEy1vlaSy9klNd5/s1600/angelwingshawl.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 234px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVDhbhIOGt6wRkc6dsybA8kBQTX5LJAdiaRP7w__g36v40QAMSlmVazRwgvzrxbhT4Kr0SD9QVQUXO_37tLYKh4h_IqWt848THKqoUjr2TAJvVR77x6PUfVT5KVHOFqwEy1vlaSy9klNd5/s320/angelwingshawl.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5676772975670582898" /></a><br /><br />And next is one of a set of two Toddler length scarves I made for one of the ladies on my swap list. She had requested them as a Wishing Well Item - it was fun to do these up - I hope she likes them.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhNY1FFENo_Aa_snQP3nOdeXrgIf-sM5W3IyOMwv71S2vubcfrjbCGy_AlvLiGje6ScvZ8u6bcTHGMvsaV-gOysWva09AhgGrlGJpcagljhXT6shTDh2jlgLN2neARe_MYAKtiBXuESAHrL/s1600/toddlerscarf.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 303px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhNY1FFENo_Aa_snQP3nOdeXrgIf-sM5W3IyOMwv71S2vubcfrjbCGy_AlvLiGje6ScvZ8u6bcTHGMvsaV-gOysWva09AhgGrlGJpcagljhXT6shTDh2jlgLN2neARe_MYAKtiBXuESAHrL/s320/toddlerscarf.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5676772994783732386" /></a><br /><br />Next is a purple beanie for one of my heart nieces - I've got a few more in the works for her!<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWxNikt_62AdwA7M34vGWvmin0hktz0u6FkfoxF5Wjt-ccorMpPdAtOAe8_0Dj-3YcF0cNRihX7zXC7TyzkA244LzLKjALw-3hsxdlrnGbZoAlanOjT28UmmcpbdqsOknucSEe_cWMhy6Y/s1600/purplebeanie.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 215px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWxNikt_62AdwA7M34vGWvmin0hktz0u6FkfoxF5Wjt-ccorMpPdAtOAe8_0Dj-3YcF0cNRihX7zXC7TyzkA244LzLKjALw-3hsxdlrnGbZoAlanOjT28UmmcpbdqsOknucSEe_cWMhy6Y/s320/purplebeanie.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5676779940780410818" /></a><br /><br />Next is another shawl I made with Bulky Yarn - no pattern just did what I saw in my head - it was also donated to the nursing home.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjO6GrF_9TkAMUfpmj19oagXrW96UQQ6MsBn5DxR1UeBfVzofVDo1ptM4xnVdsF2WrsjR3rgfE08cT_rgVJfltaE6g-f8EhwYrHTkw_QJ-DEN2tIgiPteAeA-qGOAzLzdKu-2Lfv1zeyxCL/s1600/bulkyyarnshawl.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjO6GrF_9TkAMUfpmj19oagXrW96UQQ6MsBn5DxR1UeBfVzofVDo1ptM4xnVdsF2WrsjR3rgfE08cT_rgVJfltaE6g-f8EhwYrHTkw_QJ-DEN2tIgiPteAeA-qGOAzLzdKu-2Lfv1zeyxCL/s320/bulkyyarnshawl.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5676779931341072962" /></a><br /><br />And finally for today is a Christmas Tree Door Decoration!
